A safe and relaxed place

Surf Club sessions begin at our warm and cosy caravan at Pease Bay, giving you a space to change, toilet facilities, and a place to leave your belongings. Then, lead by one of our surf volunteers or facilitators, we will head to the beach for a surf circle. We will practice breathwork and movement, go through groundings and set intentions. You will then have the opportunity to take to the sea. A qualified lifeguard will be present.

Surf Club costs £5 to attend. However, thanks to fundraising efforts, we are able to fund places for those who are in financial need. If you would like to attend a session but can’t afford it, email us and we will offer you a free place: rrobertson@groundswellcommunity.org

If you decide to go in the sea you will need your own wetsuit and surfboard. You can also hire this equipment from us at an affordable price. If you are requesting a free place, please let us know in your email if you need any equipment and we will provide this for you.

Once you have booked you will receive a disclaimer and a set of questions. Please complete these before attending your session. We will email you beforehand with directions to the caravan and to update you on the forecast and weather conditions.
